I think that any organization that gathers my information that I've given permission to should be, the entity that manages that information. Specifically, the information that they were provided. As an individual, I don't have the time, ability, potentially know-how how on how I should manage my own information that is distributed across generally hundreds of companies, and the place where I view that my responsibility lies is on whether or not my data can be provided to an organization or if I have made the decision that I no longer want that organization to have my data, I should be able to reach out to them and ask them to remove it.
ZipComply believes that trust and security should be transparent and the industry standards that one should expect, regardless of being explicitly stated in a law.
We hope to educate everyone about consumer privacy. We ask the question "Who do you think should be in control of your information on the internet?" to people in different job functions. The answers might surprise you.
